Correct measurements are key to a perfect fit, especially for non-standard windows (skylight, triangular, arched). Follow the guide below and record all dimensions in millimeters.
Decide where the plisse blinds will be mounted: on the frame, inside the recess, or above the window (on wall/ceiling). This determines the size formula.
Measure width and height in three points (top, middle, bottom). Use a steel tape measure and write down the smallest value.
Inside mount: subtract 10 mm from width and height.
Outside mount: add 50–100 mm on each side for light overlap.
Frame mount: measure visible glass width/height and ensure clearance for the handle.
Triangular: base width + height, note the slope angle.
Arched: width at the base, height at center and sides, provide arch radius.
Skylight: measure visible opening and note the tilt angle.
Handles, window trims, or sensors — leave a 10–15 mm clearance to avoid interference.

Installing plisse blinds is simple and doesn’t require special tools. You can mount them on the frame, inside the recess, or above the window. Follow the steps below for a perfect result.
You’ll need a drill or screwdriver, level, pencil, tape measure, and the included brackets.
Decide whether to install on the sash, inside the window recess, or above the window. Mark the bracket points with a pencil using a level.
Drill the holes and screw in the brackets firmly. Ensure they are aligned horizontally for smooth movement.
Snap the upper rail into the brackets until it clicks. If your system includes a bottom guide, attach it the same way.
Raise and lower the blinds several times to check the smooth operation. Adjust the cord tension or rail alignment if needed.
Check all fittings, remove protective film, and install decorative caps. Your plisse blinds are ready to use!
