Choose the installation location: on the window frame, inside the recess, or on the wall above the window.
For inside mount, measure the distance between the inner edges of the recess. For frame mount, measure along the outer edge of the glazing bead.
Measure the height of the window opening or sash. For wall mounting, add 5–7 cm (2–3 inches) above and below the opening.
Take measurements in three points for both width and height. Record the smallest values — they will be the most accurate.

You will need: a screwdriver (or drill), measuring tape, a pencil, and a level. Mounting brackets are usually included in the kit.
Place the blinds against the window (on the frame or in the opening). Mark the bracket locations with a pencil, ensuring they are level.
Screw the brackets in place. When installing on PVC windows, work carefully to avoid damaging the glass unit or the beads.
Insert the top headrail into the brackets and secure them. Test the cord and the tilt wand to ensure the slats rotate smoothly.
