What Was Installed on the Project

Exterior-mounted roller grilles were installed on the windows and tall openings of the house. The shutter box and guide rails are positioned on the outside of the facade, fully preserving the usable window opening and leaving internal finishes untouched.

The openwork curtain covers the opening, creating extra physical protection without blocking the window entirely. Light passes through partially, maintaining visual contact with the outdoors.

When raised, the curtain rolls up completely into the box, leaving the window or doorway open once again. This is why roller grilles are often chosen over stationary metal bars.
